Community Service
If anyone is looking for a way to participate in community service that aids the betterment of the Af Am community, and you are located in the NYMetro area, I may have just the thing! My mother runs a company entitled NSM Three Sisters Foundation, named after my sisters and myself, and the company is looking for volunteers this summer. Originally, the company was only a shelter for women and children, however, over the last 2 years it has expanded it's services. A Kids Cafe will be opening this summer to feed children twice a day, and give them a place to go before and after summer camp. If all goes well, it will also be in effect during the school year.
