5-Star

Hey sisters,
I wanted to ask you all before braving a Greek Life thread about something that's happening on my campus.

Last semester we were presented with a "5-Star" plan. It is something to help us get more involved on campus and make our chapters better. There are five areas that we can get points in, if we have certain attendance, turn in forms, etc.

Well after receiving no feedback on the plan, this semester we were presented with a revised plan, and once again, a trial semester. Well unfortunately not many changes were made based on our suggestions. The worst part is that once you are a "5-Star" chapter, you get priveleges that our advisor has no jurisdiction over. Secondly, if you are 1 or 1 Star chapter, you can lose office priveleges, your charter, etc. It is becoming hard for us because we feel that our voice isn't being heard by our Greek Advisor.

So........ does anyone or has anyone had this on their campus???

I know that 75% of the problem is our greek advisor, but she doesn't have anyone to answer to since most of the campus doesn't get involved in greek stuff unless it's bad. And trust me, our president and five star person have met, are meeting, and will probably continue to meet with her about it.

Please send some hope, I'm graduating and don't want my chapter to still feel negative about this.
