I start an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) class at a local hospital on Tuesday. I'm so excited!!! Any fellow GCers paramedics/EMTs??

Also, at my current job, I believe I got accepted into the QMA (Qualified Medical Aide) class! Better pay, more hours, less b*tch work!! Anyone in the nursing home industry around GC to tell me more about it?

I'm just excited to be getting some more education in a field that I've decided I do love!!!

I know the paramedic programs in Ontario are very competitive and very difficult to get into (they are community college programs).
