Question Changing eye colors....

My eyes have always been fairly light blue, both my parents have blue eyes (though I think my dad's are sorta hazelish at times). My brother has hazel/green eyes. My eyes would sometimes look gray in the past. But lately they've been very green- something that's never happened before. The woman at the Clinique counter the other day even remarked how the particular eye shadow she was putting on me would make my green eyes stand out.

It kinda freaks me out... I don't mind the green... it's just such a random change.

Anyone else's eyes ever change color on them (aside from when you were a baby! )?

Are you possibly wearing a lot of a certain color lately that would make your eyes look greener?

I have brown eyes, and up until about 2 years ago, the ring around the outside of my eyes used to be purple. It just...knd of went away. I don't know what caused it to go away, but it did.

nothing out of the ordinary. Actually most of my clothes are blue and usually make my eyes look bluer. Doesn't matter what color i'm wearing.

My eyes are hazel, and change color with my clothing. An ex once referred to me as "the girl with kaleidiscope eyes"!

It can be annoying, though - I usually wish they'd stay mostly green. Both of my parents have hazel eyes - my mother's are mostly a purple, and my dad's were greyish-green. Needless to say, my elder brother won out with the gorgeous baby blues!

My eyes change from brown to all shades of green. My eye color usually depends on how I am feeling. If they are really, really green my mom can tell if I'm getting sick (kinda made it hard to fake it when I was in school..lol). Also If I am really extremely happy they will be a different color. Most of the time they are mostly green with flecks of brown and gold. The other day someone I work with asked me if I had in contacts and i told her I didn't. she then said my eyes looked really pretty and different... almost cat-like. Dunno what made them look like that...

Well if "Azn" in AznSAE means Asian, I suggest hazel, not blue or green...but that's just my taste.

I agree. I have a friend who is also of Chinese descent, and she wears blue contacts. Looks WEIRD, I think...

My eyes are naturally pretty weird.. a combination of blue, green, and yellow, and a lot of people say they're one of my best features. In high school I decided to try dark blue colored contacts and it was REALLY weird. Some people liked them and others were like, WTF happened to your eyes? Plus, maybe this was just mine, but you could still see a hint of your natural color closer towards your pupil. I only wore them a few times then went back to my normal contacts.

I tried on a few pair, mostly aqua, turquoise, or green. If your eyes are dark, the blues looks fairly nasty.

Since I've had LASIK, though, I'm content with what I have.

I dislike colored contacts UNLESS the wearer is doing it "for a change" or "for fun."

I've met way too many people who think they can fool people into thinking that they have blue or green or hazel eyes...if you're Black with very dark coloring, you're not fooling ANYONE into thinking you have blue eyes. There aren't too many Cambodians with green eyes, either.

Did he credit John Lennon for the line?

My eyes are hazel and tend to change color but I have no idea why.

Being a guy, I guess I don't really care.

I have "hazel" eyes too, but they were really dark brown until high school when they became hazel and started looking different all the time. Now they vary between green, yellow and amber, but never get very dark. Like someone else said, when I am sick they turn emerald green. Makes being sick kind of fun. The oddest thing about my eyes is that if I close them and ask people what color they are people will usually tell me they think I have blue eyes. it's all about attention to detail.
