Favorite AOII Item and badge
Hi, sisters! It has been a while since we had an "AOII favorite" thread...
How about these questions...
What is your favorite AOII item other than jewelry?
What is your favorite AOII jewelry item other than your badge?
If you could have any badge that you wanted, other than the ruby A or the all diamond badge, which would it be?

My favorites
My favorite AOII item is the set of towels that my mom made for me (and a set for my big, too) when I got my bid.
My favorite item of jewelry is my LI necklace.
The badge that I would love to have is the alternating ruby and pearl A badge.
Roses,

Favorite AOII item probably is the daytimer my big made for me (matches my photo album)
Favorite piece of jewelry was (was bc it was stolen) my sister's disk that I was given after initiation. Similar to this: but with a rose etched on the front and my initials, initiation date, big's initials, and chapter sub-motto engraved on the back. Every sister gets one from her big upon initiation in our chapter.
If I could have any badge I would want one of the fancy historical ones. Preferrably one that you can't purchase anymore.

My favorite AOII item is probably the charm bracelet I have. I have my drop, two convention charms (NYC & Norfolk, the two I've attended), a panda charm from James Avery, a rose charm, three charms from AOII emporium, an AOII disc with the rose on it and my intiation date...all charms on it. I love it so much. I hope to keep on adding charms from conventions! Also, I never knew my great-grandmother who was an AOII at U of TN at Knoxville in the 1920s, but I have her badge which is all pearls on each letter, something that they do not do now. I also love my newest item I purchased at the Norfolk Convention, which is an oval shaped slide with AOII engraved on it with garnets around it. It is sterling silver. I also love my AOII socks and all of my tee shirts!

My favorite AOII item other than jewelry is either my history book or some old To Dragmas that I snagged via eBay.
My favorite non-badge AOII jewelry is my signet ring. I don't think it's available anymore and I got this style by mistake, but I love it!
If I could have any other badge, I want one of those old badges filled with rubies and pearls. Rubies in the tips of the Alpha and Pi, and pearls everywhere else. Sigh.
Roses,
Christin

Thanks I agree with you about the alternating ruby & pearl 'A' - it is still my favorite.
