"Confronting The Idiot in your Chapter"

Two sessions at the Phi Kappa Psi 2003 Convention (according to their mag.):

"Confronting the Idiot in Your Chapter"

"Transforming the Idiot into a Man of Excellence"

This is not a knock on PKP - most others should include something similar in their convo programs.

The magazine article, written by an undergrad, says "Both sessions were hilarious ... focusing on how to identify the lazy and generally slow in any organization ... and how PKP can act as a foundation of positive change."

Geez... PKP actually recruits idiots?

*We just don't give them bids.

*-the above is a joke and is not to be confused with the actual opinion of the author.

Just like everyplace else, I'm sure a couple slip in every once in awhile. It's not that hard for someone to hide his/her idiocy for the duration of rush.

This is a TJ Sullivan program via Campuspeak

I'll let you guys know how the program goes -- we're hosting it here at Georgia Tech on Monday (10/20).

IFC and Panhellenic are co-sponsoring it as a positive speaker event for our Greek community. I'm the IFC Educational Programming Chair, and I didn't want to have a speaker that was just all negative or preachy, that our members probably wouldn't learn from. From what I heard, this program is excellent.

It is one of the best programs I have ever seen. TJ Sullivan is great, and the material is presented in a way that really keeps the audience involved.

Thumbs up Yup, that's the One!

He was wonderful! Wish each chapter could afford him...maybe he should put out an inexpensive video.

Keep in mind the title is part fo marketing a program. Caught your attention and I bet caught the attention of the attendees!

Yes, he is with CampusSpeak. Is he the one that talked about the "Clue Bus"? Anybody??? If so, I absolutely cracked up and that was our buzzword for the rest of our Convention.

Great program!

We had TJ do his program here at Georgia Tech last night, and it was AMAZING. I've never seen members of our IFC/Panhellenic community really get into a program before, but he really got through to a lot of people... I know he gave people tons of things to think about, just from the comments I've heard from members of my own Chapter who saw his program.

Since I've been at school (since '99), I've never seen a speaker talk to our Greek community, and then have multiple members of multiple organizations come up to them aftewards and thank them for giving them so much to bring back to their Chapters. To me, that shows that what he said was effective and really hit home.

TJ was definitely worth the money that IFC and Panhellenic spent, and hopefully we can have him back out here again sometime soon.
