Any AOII's in SC?
I just moved to Columbia, South Carolina about 6 weeks ago. I know there are no chapters in SC but I believe there are 2 alumni chapters. I don't live close to either, so was wondering if there were any AOII's out there who live near Columbia.
Well, that stinks that there aren't any chapters there! There has to be some ladies from sc on here!
But, you could always contact the alum chapters, there might be some around your area that they know of if there aren't any on gc.

Both of the alum chapters in SC are 2 hours away. I've talked to both and they don't know of anyone in my area. Actually, USC asked AOII to submit stuff to charter at USC because they're looking for a new NPC group. Nationals told me they turned it down because there aren't enough alums in SC, so they chose to charter at Miss State instead. However, this makes little sense to me....there will NEVER be an alum base here if there are no chapters in the state.
Hmm, well, that doesn't make sense to me! I would email Carole Jones and Susan Danko about starting a chapter at USC. It may take a couple of days for them to respond, but I know Carole will. Tell her what's going on and see if they'll start a chapter in sc. You never know....

Welcome to Cola.!!! There used to be a chapter at USC in the late '70s. I don't know when it closed. I know an alum from that chapter and one from a chapter in Tenn.

Krisi-ann81, as a matter of fact, when I was looking for a sorority AOII was my first choice, but when I contacted your headquarters they told me the same thing. I would like to see more orgs like yours in the south.
