*either put the sisters in charge one week then the new members the next. Take a sister to lunch week. Put all there names in a hat and they have to get to know that person that week and then tell about them at the meeting on Sunday. Some interesting facts.
*I always had my crew captains as the first ones the new members in their group called if they needed any help. For two reasons. One I had 21 new women and it helped them get to know the sistes better. My phone still rang off the hook.
*All the sisters help with new member meetings. They do a skit at each meeting and involve the new women. Only one group per meeting though. They are usually really funny.
*Team builders. I have a book with a whole bunch in it. Or you can look for them online. I believe you get to know the people best through working with them. Team builders, also helps to strenghthen chapter. Our Greek Advisor actually gave me the book. If you want to know the ideas you can email me and I will find the book and send them to you
*At your first meeting tell everyone to wear old clothing and that is it. Then go out and buy lots of shaving cream. Take everyone outside and go crazy. It is a great ice breaker and lots of fun for you first meeting. They will come back just to see what you will do next!
