In Da Pub / In Da Club

Ok, I was driving (LONG drive I might add), I forgot my CD case so I s actually listening to the radio.. anyway, it was a Top 40 show, and the Top 40 host said that there was controversy surrounding the #1 song (this was a couple of weeks ago..)

A British group is suing 50 Cent because of their song "In Da Club"... it turns out, it is almost EXACTLY like their song "In Da Pub"

Interestingly enough, the name of the British group is "50 pence"

Coincidence?

I just downloaded both songs on Kazaa and they are are almost exactly alike! Right down to the beat in the background and the part about a birthday and bacardi!

I downloaded "in da pub" and it is soooooo funny!! I'm thinking it's a parody. If it isn't, 50 pence sucks. LOL

i got an email from my scottish friend that I met in high school.. he travels a lot in and around Europe and he said the "In Da Pub" is no joke!

there's a guy who did a parody of 'in da club'
and it's called 'in da tub'
it's so retarded but everyone requests it
i don't know the guy who sings it
but the chorus is funny

and at the end, where 50 does the 'don't act like you don't where we be neither'
this guy does that and he says
'don't like you don't know where i be neither'
i'm in the tub all the time
the bubbles are pop-popping off
suds in the afterbath

50 pence. It has to be a parody. There are already a lot of parodies of 50's song " in da club" and the whole 50 pence thing would have surfaced a long time ago if it was true.

It's gota be a parody cuz one of the 50 Pence songs is called "I smell P***y, It smells good".... ew

This is too big a coincedence one of them has to be a parody but who is parodying who? Maybe $.50 is the parody guy and we just don't know it. Or else someone is in deep. sounds like what happened to Eminem on his last record with that guy from England who had a song just like is except he wasn't singing about beating his wife or doing drugs.
