Crabs....
Did that get your attention???
Has anyone ever had Hermit Crabs. We got my 4 year old 2 of them last night. They are fun to watch. But I honestly don't know much about them. Can anyone tell me anything? Also, they seem to have a funky a$$ smell --what is it? and can I get rid of the smell?
Thanks,
Wendi

They sell those at our mall LOL!
My friend had one back in the day when we were in Middle School. I was always afraid of them - thought they might pinch me with their claws and never let go.
Anyways, I can't help ya out on the smell or anything but they are usually sold with an instruction guide. I'd recommend looking up something about them on the internet like on ASK.com
Good Luck!

WHAT?
Crabs?
Well, if you cannot boil them and then enjoy with Garlic Butter then who needs them!
If Yu Have them, shave half of your Pubic Hair, set fire to the other half and stab them with an ice pick as they run from the flames or pucky smell!

Maybe they need salt water or something....perhaps they are dehydrating / dessicating? Hence the smell??

Don't you have to give them bigger shells as they grow? I have seen ones with pink, teal, and orange painted shells. I thought they were really cool when I was kid. Now I definitely prefer furry pets though... I love big dogs.

Back when I was in like 4th grade, me and my cousins got some in Myrtle Beach. Mine died... maybe it was cuz I was afraid to pick them up or anything cuz I was afraid they would pinch me!
We raced ours on the balcony of our hotel room. Not a good idea! One fell off the balcony... but I don't think it hit anyone.

I had given one to my 2nd KD lil sis during one of those "gift" days. She was more "goth" than "sororitychickie" so I thought it was a great gift for her.
BTW, while searching for pet gifts, I found these VERY cool hermit crab shells:
