liscnese plates?
ok, today I was at Taco Bell and the car infront of me had GA plated which had 3 #'s then 3 letters and it read: 666 CRY
It did not look like a vanity plate, I think they some how got stuck with it.
SO what was the weirdest plate (vanity of not) that you have seen?
Chris

A few years ago, people around Athens or maybe Atlanta area had FAT as part of their license sequence. They had to pay extra if they wanted a new tag.

When I worked at the CBS tv station in Detroit, whenever it came time to replace plates, we had a deal with the state and they would tell us where the CBS prefix was going to be and would allow one person to take everyone's registration and money and we all got CBS plates for no additional "vanity" charge.

The two oddest ones I've ever seen were vanity plates:
"PVNRT" and, you're going to think I'm making this one up, "DEWADZ" I almost choked on my coffee-to-go when I saw that one

The one issued to me last year was DWEB - (I forget the numbers)! I decided it was time to get a vanity plate! Mine is now my favorite scripture: PHL4:4
Edited for possible dylexia!

I just bought the tag for my (NEW!!!) car yesterday. I didn't get a vanity 'cause I didn't have the money but had I had the money I probably would have put a variation of my GC name: swissms.

Oh yeah, and the funniest plate I've ever seen is on my pulmonologist's car. He drives a cute little Porsche and the tag says "WHEEZE"

When I'm sitting in traffic, I tend to observe more about the vehicles around me. Yesterday I saw a bright orange Ford truck that had a license plate that read "LWN GUY". Then I looked up to the back window of his truck, and it was an advertistment for his landscaping business.

when my brother was like 15 he had a thing for going on the DMV website and seeing what he could pull up..... Virginia has it set up so it bounces back any license plate combinations that are already taken, AND any that are dirty. He was VERY proud, however, to come up with:
