Did anyone go to MGCA?

Hi I attended the MGCA in Chicago last month. Did any of you go? If so did you have fun? I did. Is there anything that you learned that you took back to your chapters?

I didn't go to MGCA, but I did go to NGLA (northeast Greek Leadership Association) conference in Philadelphia last weekend! It was a blast and I enjoyed meeting a lot of other Phi Sigs!

I was just wondering if anyone from the Midwest is going to the MGCA in Feb, 2003? I'm going again. I hope if anyone is going, I can get the chance to meet some of you.

Is anyone going to the Western Greek Regional Leadership Conference at the end of March beginning of April? I'm debating whether to spend the money to go or save the money to go to LTS in the summer?

The conference are regional leadership conference that are all greek. You go to different sessions or meetings, where you learn different things such as leadership, recruitment, self-esteem, risk managment, fundraising, etc. I went to the one in region last year and it was really nice. You get to meet different Phi Sig's in your region, which is so cool.

I hope you get to go to the one in your region.

Phi Sig duchesscv I'm pretty sure each of the orgs in our Panhel at SFSU will be attending the western greek conference.. (seeing as how it's 20 minutes from our campus) Ne way... I haven't been before so I dont know how good it is or anything like that... but if you go there will be at least one other Phi Sig !! (probably more)

I didn't go to WRGC last year but I went the year before as a freshman. Our school took a van for all the Greeks and our
Greek Adivisor drove. It was sooo much fun. It was a great learning experience and it was really cool hanging out with other Phi Sigs and other Greeks. I am planning on going again, hopefully. I want to go to LTS too for sure! Listen to me, I want, I want , I want.

I went to the MGCA over the week-end and it was really good. I met some Phi Sig's from other chapters. They were nice. It was nice meeting people from different sororities/fraternities. I got a lot out of my pathways and hot topics. I also went shopping at the mall and had a great time with the people from my university. Has anyone heard of David Coleman and Will Keim they are really great speakers. They have been to my school a few times. If Judson Laipply comes to your campus go and see him you will not regret it. He is so funny and makes you really think about things.

I had a really good time at MGCA too. We normally go to the Southeastern IFC Convention in Atlanta, but that turned into a drunk-fest and we are trying to revive our Greek system. I am very glad we decided to go to Chicago. I brought back a lot of great ideas for my IFC and my chapter. Highly recommended if you dont already go.
