Badges & Pins

It's been a while since GLO badges & pins have been discussed (well, at least a week! ), but I got my Adelphean today and the lead article was on... the history of the Alpha Delta Pi pin! ("Diamonds Are Forever", The Adelphean, Winter 2003)

There are some tidbits that I didn't know, such as each ADPi pin being made by individually, and assembled by hand, and that descendants of one of the original Adelpheans (1851) are still being initiated with the same pin to this day!

There are also the rules of wearing the pin (the basic "church attire" rules), and many pictures of the pin through the past 152 years.

I am techno-impaired, or I would try to show y'all the picture of the Grand President's pin that's shown. If you're familiar with our diamond pin, try to picture it with two rows of 44 diamonds around it! Awesome!
