For the guys: if you had that "gift"....

I just watched What Women Want yesterday and I was wondering if you guys got Nick's "gift" (for those who haven't seen the movie, Mel Gibson's character got into a freak accident and he was able to listen and read what women think in their heads), would u want it or not and why?
Of course, girls are free to post too! If you could tell what guys think in their heads, would you like it?
Personally I would probably like it for awhile, because I might be able to do exactly what he wants and know how he feels but after awhile I might wanna get rid of it. There are times in a relationship when u just wanna be taken by surprise, and also I don't want it to get to a point where I have to watch I'm saying/doing just because I'm afraid of what the other person would think. And that would keep me from being myself.

When Mel Gibson was having that bed scene with Marisa Tomei though, it made me think "hmmm...."

It would be great, but to take it even a step further, what if you could know everything that person knew? It wouldn't be limited to what they were currently thinking, but to be able to know everything that they knew and about every experience that they had. You would know as much about nuclear phyics as about cooking or as you did about auto mechanics, just by entering the mind of the right person.

No way! When it comes down to it, the only thing you have that you really own, that no one else can touch, are your personal thoughts. I do not wish to know every secret. If she wants me to know, she'll tell me, but otherwise it's hers to keep.

What if you were in a room with a bunch of women, like at a movie or at work? It would be like constantly being in the middle of a noisy conversation. I think you'd start to long for some piece and quiet.
