Austin Powers 3

How many of you went out to see Austin Powers 3 - Goldmember and what did you think? I really liked it except most of the showings were sold out so we had to see it late and pretty much sit in the front row. I loved it though, my stomach still hurts from all the laughing! I dont think the audience ever stopped laughing and clapping. The beginning is soo funny, with awesome cameos (but I wont give them away for those of you who havent seen it and are planning to) If you get a chance, go see it cause it really is the funniest movie of the summer!

I really liked the movie. Like you said, the cameos were pretty sweet. Mini-Me made this movie though, he is an all around stud. I give 2 thumbs up and recommend it to everyone. I could have done without Brittney Spears though, she pretty much annoys the hell out of me.

I probably won't see it...maybe when it comes to video. My problem with the Austin Powers series is that I always dislike the leading ladies. I don't particularly like Elizabeth Hurley, I hate Heather Graham, and Beyonce gets on my damn nerves!!!

I haven't seen it yet, but I HATE Beyonce too! She was on The View the other day, and why doesn't she get rid of the afro? Despite my hate for her, I think she's a beautiful girl, and that hair makes her look hideous. I don't care if it's just for the movie.... GET RID OF IT!

Agreed, fantastic movie. Funnier than the first two!

And for the record, Beyonce is one of the reasons that the movie is so good.

Is there anyone out there that did not like the Austin Powers movies?
I only saw the first one and I hated it. I dont get it.

I hated that isht. I sat there for the duration that it was on my TV screen like WTF. I rented it for 99 cents back in the late 90s and they still owe me $1.

I went and saw it last night-luckily, I didn't have a seat problem, since my friend camped out in the theater an hour before the show started!! I loved it!! It was so funny!! I loved the first one, but didn't like the 2nd one-and this one was great!! Very very funny.

i liked it okay. there were really funny parts, and really gross parts too. i HATE beyonce though. she does not have the stomach to be wearing those short shirts all the time! argh!! and the theatre was super-packed. i would reccommend go seeing it.

I just got back from seeing it, and I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, even though Beyonce can't act her way out of a wet paper bag. It seems like she had about 3 lines that she kept repeating in different contexts. Plus, I thought it was really annoying that her character kept referring to herself in the 3rd person. I was going to start a ruckus if I heard her exclaim "Foxy Cleopatra!" one more time. But, getting past that, it was hysterical, and Mini-Me was freakin' awesome. The cameos were the best part of the whole movie (and the kickstand part, LOL

).

On a side note, I was also very excited to see the preview for LOTR!

I saw it tonight. I liked it better than the second, but still not as much as the first. Beyoncé wasn't as bad as I thought she'd be. Overall, it was pretty funny. There was a lot of lowbrow humor that the movie could have done without, though. I think my boyfriend and I were the only ones in the theater who understood the "Domo Arigato, Mr. Roboto" bit.

I saw it this afternoon with a couple of old high school friends. I thought I was funny.
The cameos were great! Wasn't expecting them...
Yeah, well the movie theater was pretty packed... Thank goodness my friends got there before I did, considering I got there during the previews!

I think someone else coulda done a better job as Foxxy, then Beyonce. But she did alright...
Over all: Good, funny movie.

I really enjoyed it. Did you know that Fook Mi and Fook Yoo aren't really twins? LOL... Fook Yoo is actually Carrie Ann Inaba, a local girl from Hawaii and former "Fly Girl" on "In Living Color". In actuality, the woman who played Fook Mi was the one who called Carrie for the part.

But damn...all I hafta say is.... "THAT MOLE!!!"
