Well, what a lot of peole do who start up a new chapter do is they find others like them who are dissatisfied with the current chapters on their campus and want to do something about it. That is usually around 5-8 guys right there. Then what you do is find out which National Org interests you and is really to have ou join. Most National groups would be happy to have you start a new chapter on your campus, espescially if there was a chapter fo theirs there in the past. That is also a good thing to look out for because then you will have alumni support already in place once they find out about you that is. Then you need to recruit, recruit, recruit. At this point most GLOs will let you know what your golas should be for chartering. Things like Bylwas will need to be drafted, philanthropies fundraised for, and ritual costs paid for. At that point though, the National group will be pointing the way for on what you need to do. Also, you should check out the rules your school has for new student orgs, and religously follow them. Do not just follow what others ell you, get a copy of any policies they may have, that will save you a whole lot of greif when an administrator or something decides he/she does not like GLOs and tries to block you. Other than that have fun, get good grades, and be brothers for each other as much as possible.
