Yes, you can buy your way into a speaking part of a movie called Sea Legs. Check the link for specifics, but this is what the movie is about:

"Sea Legs is a romantic comedy that circles around the "Hell Night" of a brash fraternity, Sigma Epsilon Chi. Rather than having their "Hell Night" on campus, the brothers decide to have it on a singles’ cruise, unbeknownst to the unassuming pledges. The fraternity president, Mack, is involved in a serious relationship with Penny, a sister of Sigma Tau Delta sorority. Penny is jealous and goes on the same cruise - incognito - with three of her sorority sisters to make sure Mack isn’t cheating. What follows is a sometimes slapstick comedy with the fraternity boys, sorority girls, ship’s crew and zany passengers as they cruise to a happy ending. "

And NEVER should YOU pay to be in a movie, either they pay you or its done for free.

I bet the writers thought they were sooo clever! haw haw haw!

Straight to video, if it even gets made. They probably need the auction money to finance getting started!

there was also another movie called " Going Greek" which was about a "party" fraternity. That one never saw a release either.......so sad.

I bet it does make it to the theaters...i mean sorority boys had KOK and DOG as the fraternity and sorority. Just a thought

Amy, you have been the business for a while, you know the movie may be released, but in a much limited way or released in Europe or Asia . . . But I agree that this is definitely not going to be an A-list movie lol.

Also, if its an independant film it may very well use the technique of selling a part. I am an independant film maker and I can think of at least one film that raised money using this method. One actually went on a local radio station and sold extra parts for 500 dollars a piece lol.

Someone on film crew didn't do their research...Sigma Tau Delta is the Honorary English society. Wonder how their nationals will feel about this.

umm....The names will be Theta Chi Alpha for the frat. and Phi Omicron for the sorority so far not sure typeing sucks i'm goonna go put up posters.

I was just going to say Sigma Tau Delta is an English national. I have a lot of friends in it that would be pretty ticked and would be calling nationals about it.
