Graduation Stoles for Transfer Students
Hey everyone! I have a very important question. I am graduating in the Fall of this year, and I was wondering: I transferred schools but did not affiliate with the local chapter at my university. But, Phi Mu is still my whole heart. Be honest, do you think it would be inappropriate (or regarded as strange, etc) for me to wear a Phi Mu graduation stole? I sometimes wear letters, and another sister from my chapter of initiation (who now goes here with me, yay!) and I have talked about how we feel like we get strange looks for it sometimes. Please, tell me your opinions. Phi Mu is so important to me, and I would love to proudly wear that stole when I graduated, but not if it would be considered rude/inappropriate/weird by the local chapter or anyone else. Thank you!

If you are in good standing, I don't see any issue with wearing a Greek stole for graduation. I wore one for my one graduate degree even though Phi Mu is no longer on that campus. Where did you attend school/ initiate and where did you transfer? You can PM me if you'd like. Good luck, sister!

Walk in pride with your stole during graduation. You're still a sister regardless of the chapter.
