Happy Thanksgivukkah to All GreekChatters!

What with Thanksgiving and Chanukkah falling on the same day this year, it'll be another 79,000 years before this happens again:

Happy Thanksgivukkah! Happy Thanksgiving too. Just have to finish the last of the house cleaning, most of the dinner is prepared-- lots of different foods that I don't usually have on Thanksgiving. Best thing about the two holidays on the same night is that I don't have to cook 2 different large dinners. We will be sharing Thanksgivukkah with a couple of Marines from Camp Pendleton. These are real babies. They have finished boot camp and are now in the School of Infantry. Very seldom to I get boys who are older than 18.

Let the celebrating begin!

Thank you! Happy Thanksgivukkah everyone - or just happy Thanksgiving, whichever you prefer! : )

We're out of town for Thanksgiving and aren't able to light candles in our hotel room - so the Virtual Menorah came in very handy. : )

Ugh, I forgot to get Hannukah cards for some of my family, so I'm about to be one of those jerks who shops on Thanksgiving. Unless I'm about to be one of those jerks who gives everyone hand-drawn Hannukah cards.

Oy, it's been a week.

We have seen History! We will never be here to see it again

But all I know, I ate so much as usual, I was as stuffed as the friggen Buter Ball turkey on the table and was lucky enough to bring home a big carry bag of:
Turkey, Ham, Oyster stuffing, mashed taters with turkey gravy, candied yams, green bean cassarole, and ended up with a full pumpkin pie and Cool Whip!
