no bid
this past week i tried to join a sorority. i go to a small university. we only have like 4 or 5 sororities and we dont having frat/sorority housing. this was an informal recruitment. we were required to go to 3 meetings, i went to 4.
there were no one on one talks. just ice breakers. so there really was not a chance for me to talk. and i was really nervous.
I had no luck and did not receive a bid. what hurts even worse is i did not even get a reason. bid call backs were supposed to be around 1pm and 4 at the latest to know if you got a bid or not. i had waited till 4pm when i finally received a call. i was just called and told "you showed dedication, but it just wouldn't be a good fit. but it was nice meeting you." i've been crushed, upset, and crying all day. can anyone help me out by suggesting why i did not receive a bid since i got no real explanation? i feel like i was not good enough but cant understand why.
