what a very random article, "some people go greek, some don't" well duh, tell us something we didn't know?

It doesn't really debunk any myths about Greek Life, or actually promote it to the student body, in fact this line seems to be the most positive of the whole article:

""However, what I can relate to is the attraction of unity, the experience, the philanthropist work, and the connections""

and this line confused me

I didn't know that the number of Greek life members was a matter of belief. Surely, that's a fact. And is it "Greek life" like the icon in the article or Greek "life members"?

Wait, what??? I can't tell what the writer (she?) is saying. And what did the mysterious Alpha Gam tell her? I have to send this along to my own West GA sorority girl.

As for the Alpha Gam's comment, I'm not really sure, lol but hope it was postive!
At least this article is more positive than negative, opposite of a clash last year (or was it the year before??)

What a poorly written article. I'm embarrassed for UWG. (Note to author: More than one member of Kappa Sigma or Chi Omega are Kappa Sigmas or Chi Omegas, not Kappa Sigma's or Chi Omega's.) But this was the line that particularly got to me:

Becoming a part of a sorority or fraternity does not necessarily entail good times and belligerent drinking.

I've certainly known some people who become belligerent when drunk, but belligerent drinking is a new one on me. Good times indeed.

But hey, at least she said "a part" instead of "apart."

3. . . . from an entirely bias standpoint,

1.The idiom is “every once in a while.”

2.Is this a clever and sneaky way of alluding to Alpha Gamma Delta's squirrel mascot? If so, congrats for working that in.
3.Should be “biased,” not “bias.”

How does one make it to college without understanding that an apostrophe doesn't make something plural? It's particularly vexing to see it done by people who are presumably journalism majors.
