Hi, I'm Katie

Hi, I was trying to find some information about legacies and found this forum. I'm a Alpha Xi Delta, Gamma Phi Chapter at East Carolina University, '76 I live in South Bend, Ind. because my husband is on the Faculty at the University of Notre Dame.. I have an adopted son who is married with two sons and lives in San Diego, a son at Notre Dame, a son at Purdue University, and a daughter at East Carolina University.

Should it bother me that she distinguished her adopted son from her other other children? Unless the question is about legacy status for grandchildren from her adopted son, I don't see why it's necessary.

Eh, could just be over explaining. I wouldn't jump to offense at that.

Adopted son

ree-Xi, sorry if I offended your sensibilities but my husband and I were Legal Guardians to our son while he was in College because of NCAA rules.(Think Blindside) He was 19 when we took guardianship so we have just gotten use to calling him our Adopted son because he still has a Mother. We have been in his life for 19 years.
