Best/ most memorable recruitment stories you've ever read?

What are some of your favorite recruitment stories you've read? ones that were retro or live, obviously fake or sweet and sincere, sad endings, happy endings, long or short. "Sooo bad its good" stories and stories that make you want to rip out your hair? link them here!

The fake ones. They were just so bad.

My all time fave ACTUAL story: 20something!
I seriously believe that it should be required reading for ANY PNM going through recruitment at ANY school.

I don't know if anything can top identical twins & sequined pantyhose. LOL! Well, obviously Chuck Norris can but still.

The one with the twins and the sequined hose. It's a GC classic.

http://Www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...d.php?t=115661. Love the early 90s flashbacks and references! Plus it's just a great story

http://Www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...ighlight=Retro More early 90s!

http://Www.Greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...ighlight=Retro. Lots of houses and lots of details! Also love the fashion flashbacks too. I can totally envision the plastic earrings and blue eyeshadow.

http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...ighlight=Retro Twists and turns!

http://Www.Greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...327&highlight= bluto Just cuz I know the school and atmosphere!

OK I admit it, I had to read this thread after all of the comments about it. And as much as I hate to say it, I found myself unable to stop until the end. I can see why it's a classic.

We STILL don't know. All I know is how proud I am that it was one of my sisters who derailed the thread completely.

Alas, I was saddened that I was unable to find out what lucky sorority got sequined pantyhose.

Are there any Canadian rush stories? I'd love to read one from a northern neighbor, especially to see how rush works at a school where the chapters do not have to be recognized by the university.

Actually, I think it should be stickied and mandatory reading! It's been years, and we still reference it!
