AT&T U-Verse: Does anyone have it?
I didn't see a thread, and there probably isn't one since it's still fairly new. It's finally available in my area. I tried to order it online, but there was a conflict because I have AT&T dsl. It's a good thing I had to call because they give you a better offer over the phone. It won't be installed until Feb. 28th!! The rep claims that it's in high demand, and installation techs are limited.
Anyway, I was wondering if any of you have it. If so, how do you like it?

We have had it for about 6 months and love it! Yesterday, DH was telling me that it seems like we are getting new channels all the time.
I had dish network before and as soon as U-verse was available in our area, we were all over it

We have the A T & T U Verse television and internet package. To me it seems comparable to our previous Direct TV and dsl line, but my husband insists that the HD is better on the television and that the internet is quicker.

A co-worker has the cable but had to get rid of the internet because they weren't supporting VPN and she works from home sometimes. She was getting kicked off of VPN constantly. She kept the cable and loves that she can DVR up to 4 things simultaneously.

My parents have it, and it seems okay. The only issue they've had is getting used to the internet, phone, and cable being connected. So if they needed to reset the modem or something because the internet wasn't working, re-setting the modem turned the phone and cable off for a few minutes.

I just got it about two weeks ago and so far I like it. There are so many channels! And I just have the basic package (though I still feel like sometimes there's nothing on! lol) The internet is okay, sometimes it seems slower than my old internet but for the most part it's basically the same.

I chose the basic package. When I called, they were able to give me U200 for the same price for a year with an additional $10 for the first 6 months. There's no contract, so it won't be a problem if I decide not to keep it that long. lol--I asked to be sure.

I have it and it's great. I really like being able to watch recorded programs from any TV in the house. They keep releasing software updates which is nice. Apparently the next update will allow you to set/program recordings from any TV in the house.
