We don't go to Ole Miss, nor are we Phi Mu members, so we wouldn't know.

The best thing for you to do is go to the source and ask about specific chapter events like this. They would know alot better than a bunch of people on a message board would (who probably don't even go to Ole Miss).

Has the semester just started back up at Ole Miss? The chapter is probably just getting back into being back at school. I would guess (hope?) your daughter will be given all the information she needs regarding initiation in the next week.

As far as the brunch goes, the parents at the school I advised usually wore nicer casual/business casual attire to our parents' brunch. However, that was at a university in the Midwest, so take that as you will.

Thank you, yes they will start on 21st. We just live a long way away, so we were trying to pack - especially if it's formal - before she left and she hasn't been able to get in touch with anyone. Thought there might be some Ole Miss moms on here who would know - thank you.

I don't know what your original message said. I am guessing you were wondering what her attire should be. Since they will do initiation in the house, what you wear will vary. They will let her know what she needs. Even if they let her know last minute, she would be able to still have time to go shopping in Oxford, Batesville, Memphis, or Tupelo to find what she needs. You can even order online and have it sent within a day or two.

They will let her know what she needs. Don't worry about it until then.
