Hey everyone.
I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who gave me advice (knowingly or not). You guys are what really convinced me that it was worth giving recruitment another shot. I just finished going through Alpha Xi Delta recruitment at UofI and...
I GOT A BID!!
Our pledging ceremony is today followed by a celebratory cook out thing. And the tonight we introduce ourselves to the rest of the greek community at the opening of greek week!

We have 125 new members!
Over 200 went through recruitment and I heard someone say 180 went to preference last night (although that number may be a little high?).
Everyone is so excited!

Congratulations.
I understand that you are a new member of a new colony. Being a founder is a lot of hard work, but so rewarding... I'm a chapter founder too, and signing the charter is one of my fondest AEPhi memories. You're a part of something new. Enjoy it.
