If you were INITIATED, you may not join another NPC sorority. No there are no exceptions to this.

However, if you were never initiated, you CAN join another sorority if you have waited one calendar year.

By "National" sorority, do you mean an NPC sorority? By "was a member" do you mean you were initiated? When you say you want to join another sorority, is it an NPC you wish to join?

If you answered yes to all three of those questions, the answer is, without exception, NO.
