I want to see it so bad! I love the first one. I can't convince anyone to see the sequel with me.

Go alone!
I was surrounded by teens and tweens. Good movie though.

Loved it! It didn't get great reviews but i think it complimented the first movie very well.

I thought it was cheesy and cute-just what I expectEd. Good, but not as good as the first.
Alexis Bledel made me seriously miss Gilmore Girls though.

I liked it, and I liked this one better than the first. This one seemed slightly more adult to me.

I liked the first one better due to America's role and her amazing acting. This one did not flow as well and due to the situation it seemed as if it was about to lose direction for a while.
I love Tibby's story-line, but hasn't she ever heard of a litte product called?...well I don't want to spoil it, but for those who have, you know what I'm talking about and where it's available! LOL! But, they could have given it a bit more depth.
I loved Carmen's sitch also, but it felt underdeveloped.
The other two characters seemed almost entirely short-changed and I didn't like the addition of the snobby sister. Maybe smushing all the follow up books into one movie wasn't a good idea. Stretching between four girls is already difficult.

I really liked the movie!! I thought the first one was a little better but both were pretty good. I would definitely recommend it!

They barely showed Effie in the first movie at all but she was a more major character in the later books so she seemed to come out of nowhere in this movie. I think it was too much to shove them all into one movie. They missed a lot by doing that. I still enjoyed it, still had tears and laughter and believe that these actresses were cast perfectly for each of their parts. They truly seem like they ARE these characters.

We went to the midnight opening and had an awesome time. My mom, 2 sisters & I Lots of fun, we all enjoyed the movie.
Effie seems to come out of left field, especially if, like me, you haven't read the books. Which I plan to do soon!
And now I want to go to Greece!!!

Saw it on Thursday with mu_agd--- it was about 118 here and escaping the heat was necessary. I really enjoyed it!

I made my mom go see it with me, since I made her see the first one with me as well, and we both really liked it. It's what you expect -- a cute, feel-good, girly movie.
