Help! Shoes to match dress?
I'm going to a wedding in a few weeks and this is the dress I'm wearing, in Terracotta...
http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridesma...&prodgroup=110
Besides getting dyables and paying a ridiculous amount for shoes I'll only ever wear with this dress again, what color could I wear? I thought about white but then maybe that'd be too much of a contrast. Help a sista out!

I would go with light metallic gold or silver.

I agree with a dark silver would work. Check out endless.com, shoebuy.com or zappos.com.

I think something bronzy and strappy would be really pretty.

My first thought was silver.
ETA: There's a Famous Footwear in Dearborn Heights, Ford Rd, near Beech Daly that always has shoes buy one, get one 1/2 off and had a pretty good selection when I was there mmmm, mid-July or so. Or, Shoe Carnival has tons and tons of dressy shoes too.

I look a lot like the girl in the picture, so my first thought is to wear bronze or gold because that terracotta is too earthy for a silver in my opinion. But if gold doesn't look good as good on you, then try a very dainty silver color or a white/silver silver/gray if you know what I'm talking about.
You could also try a nice complementary brown or tan.

I was thinking tan or cream. I just can't see gold or silver with this color but everyone has had the same opinion as those above.

Well you probably already have the dress in front of you and so you may have a better concept of coordination. I did mention tan, so I'd say if that's one of your ideas then that may be the best bet.

I vote natural/tan strappy sandals.

A cognac would look nice.

If you are doing a classic closed toe heel/pump, then my vote is a perfect nude shade. You need to find the nude that works for your skin tone. Then, you can continue to use this shoe for a very long time.
If you do a metallic, I would just make sure it is a muted metallic.
Have fun!

Having just enlarged the dress and seeing that it has eyelet trim on it, I agree with this idea. Eyelet + metallic can look kind of janky.
