APO Store
Have you been to the APO Store lately? http://www.apo.org/store/index.shtml
What merchandise do you really wish they would carry?

for what?
The last time I checked, the APO Store online really didn't have anything to my liking. I purchase my paraphanalia exclusively at the CollegeCrib in Nashville.

There is a website APOCollection.com that carries all APO stuff... they are behind in updating their page, but I e-mailed them, and they are supposed to have the new merchandise online by mid-June. I got a really great t-shirt at the last nationals that said "Real men and women wear blue and gold."

I LOVE that shirt! I don't know why I didn't get one while I was there. What chapter are you from?

I am from Tau Alpha, Davis and Elkins College, Elkins, WV... Region V, Section 61
I graduated May 2001 and am now in MD; I miss my chapter and being involved with APO , but I live near some of my very close brothers
I am also thinking of joining Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, to keep up with the service activities that I enjoy so much!

GSS Peri
Soror,
Well you're not going to find too many connections to Gamma Sig on the National Alpha Phi Omega site...25/52 isn't officially recognized by either organization. That's the short and sweet story anyway.
I have some places online you can visit for some peri:
The Greekshop:
The Greekshop. This place carries the Gamma Sig crest, and it's the ONLY place so far. They do great work, I have gotten things from there before.
Ujamma's: Ujamma's. They are located in Tallahassee and they also have the bomb t-shirts. We have a frat brother who works there as well.
The simplest thing to do is do a search for Greek Para and a lot of different sites will come up. If you're coming to the 25/52 Cookout this weekend, we will have some vendors there as well.
Hope this helped soror!
Wee-Oop

Yes, but buying stuff from the APO Store at the National Office goes to support the National organization. Buying stuff from greek stores only benefits the owners of those stores.

The APO Collection is run by an APO Brother. They are responsible for getting many APO Greek items that the National Office sells. They also donate a portion of their profits to the National organization, so buying from them is a little better then buying from other Greek stores. If you want something you don't see in their catalog, give them a call. I got some nice bookbags with stich letters and embroidery that I saw on another greek website. The cost was the same.
We deal with a local greek store for letter shirts, but as they carry very little APO stuff, we usually deal with the APO Collection.

I think we'd all gladly support the APO collection if they would update their website.
But I'm going to go with the best prices, a unique selection, and service I am familiar with, and that's http://www.thegreekshop.com.
I HAVE gotten stuff from the APO collection, but only because they were at Philly last time and had samples of everything.

APO Collection happens to be in the process of updating their site.
If you call them, they can probably get you the same items at the same cost. All greek stores pretty much get their items from the same companies. I've gone to them to see if they had stuff I saw at other on-line greekstores that I didn't see in their catalog, and they were able to do so.
