Savannah, GA!
I recently (as in less than a week ago) moved from Atlanta, GA to Savannah, GA (where I'm from). To my knowledge, there isn't an active Alumnae Chapter or Junior Circle here...anybody know? I know that contact info is listed on the website but I couldn't find a web page for any Savannah chapters.
Anybody familiar with the process of starting a Junior Circle or Alumnae Chapter up? I know we must have alumnae here because there was a chapter at Armstrong....

If you go to the Members Services side fo the site and click on Chapter/Club and Junior Circle Contacts, you can search by state. It looks like there is an active Savannah Junior Circle and there is a contact person listed, with email address.

You go, girl! Contact your PD and get a geographic roster and have at it! I send you all the good wishes in the world. There are many sisters in the area and I know you'll do great...every gathering, no matter how small, is better than none at all. Take baby steps and celebrate each victory as it comes.

I agree! Our club is small and if we have more than 5 at a gathering, it's considered a good turnout. However, it may a different 5 women at each gathering too. We don't give up though, because we need our sisterhood. Since most of us are moms, working and stay at home, we really need our sisterhood time as a respite and a chance to rejuvenate. Girls Night Out becomes more and more important as our lives get busier and busier. So, each of us may make it to 3 or 4 of the 8 events, but we all get to touch base and interact and have fun with our sisters!

I have several AGD friends who are in Savannah that I know are very interested in a Junior Circle! I am thinking of trying to start something up in High Point, NC with another Gamma Eta advisor myself! Good Luck!
