I'm not sure how much help I can be... I'm from a local sorority and we don't have a house (between living and Boston and there being the unspoken brothel law). But what I can tell you is that I (myself) see a good sister as someone who is their for the sorority and all the sisters that are a part of it. Sure, it is important to pay dues and what not, but to be there for events, meetings and just to hang out with each other and form bonds is what I always thought was important.
Also, always love your sisters and show respect for them as they should for you... And respect those sisters that came before you. You may not always agree with them, but the bond of sisterhood should not be broken

And always remember to be proud of your sorority and your letters... And of course remember to be yourself, as corney as it sounds.
Thats my advice, I hope this helps.
