I attended a wedding at a sorority house a few years ago. The house is on a lake and the ceremony took place at dusk in the courtyard.

We came thisclose to having our reception at my husband's fraternity house. It is a really nice house but my dream reception location became available.

My mom and dad had their reception at a Chi Omega house. She was a DG, but I guess the Chi-O house was bigger or something...they just had a very simple cake and punch reception in 1973. No alcohol or anything.

Yes but it was just wine and beer. It was a summer wedding so no one was living in the house and they had special permission from the HC.
