Rush Calandar
My fraternity is working on their rush calandar and I'm looking for event ideas. We have informal rush which involves rushies just droping by the house at random times and us as a fraternity showing them a good time and giving them a chance to meet the guys in the house. If you have any original event ideas respond to this thread.
Examples of what we do now:
Movie Nights
Canoeing
BBQ's
etc.

At UPS, chapters often watch sports games together, play softball, kickball, pool, board games and stuff like that. What they do depends on the character of the chapter and the kind of stuff they usually do, so I'm sure you could tailor something like that to your chapter's personality.

Some schools have an indoor climbing wall which might work for you if weather is an issue.

Home Run Derby - set up a pitching machine in the yard and try to blast whiffleballs out into the street/over the fence (if over the fence is a place where they won't get stolen).
pitching radar gun can be fun too, though more expensive and less interesting for people that suck at throwing.
mechanical bull is expensive, but fun, might not be worth it

As an extra on my post, make sure the strippers are absolutely disgusting. It's a bonding experience to get a lap dance from a girl who has no tread left on the tire, bullet hole scars, and emotionally dead inside.
