I don’t know what you make of Newt Gingrich. I think he is a very smart, articulate guy, who frequently talks common sense. Last week, reader Steve Warsaw sent me a video of Gingrich responding to a question at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Like him or not, the former Speaker of the House will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

Tom, why are you posting video from August 2007 when Gingrich was still testing the waters for a possible presidential run? We heard all this panic-inducing blather from him last summer. Is there a reason you're bringing it up again now?
