Benefit Makeup?

Has anyone else heard of Benefit Cosmetics? I got a little catalog in the mail from Macy's, and some of the items look & sound really cute.

There's all sorts of products, and some of the names include "dr. feelgood", "She Laq", "D'Finer D'Liner" and one of my personal favorites, "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of Me". I would just like to know if the products are as good as the names.

Oh, their sales are called buh-buys.

I love Benefit! I first learned about Benefit because of their Benetint lip and cheek stain. I like how it looks but it kind of dries my lips out.

I can't speak for all of their products but I have been very happy with these:

Dandelion face powder - awesome for pale skin to make you look awake (Georgia Peach is great too depending on your coloring and preference)
Dallas blush/bronzer - gives a more natural look on me than regular bronzers
High Beam and Hollywood Glo highlighters
Eyecon eye cream - although if I use too much it makes my eyes water
You Rebel tinted moisturizer
Jiggle Gel - it's temporary but feels really good on tired legs and really feels like it helps!

I've also used their Some Kind-a Gorgeous foundation, which is highly rated in lots of magazines, but I found it some kind-a heavy and greasy on me.

I want to try That Gal brightening face primer, Bad Gal blue mascara and Thrrrob face powder but I am currently on a self-imposed cosmetics restriction until I use up all of the products I have amassed.

The founder's of Benefit are Thetas.

I've used some of their stuff in the past and liked it but I found products from philosophy, bare escentuals, and the body shop that worked better so i quit.

hc - they have them at Sephora too, so you can go there and play around with the products all you want without getting the SAFE (Sales Assistant Fish Eye) that you get at Macy's if you don't buy something within 5 minutes of walking to the counter.

I have the Georgia palette, and the blush is nice but even on pale pale me, it takes a LOT to show any color. It's more of a glow than a blush.

My favorite is Benefit BadGal Lash Mascara. I'd definitely recommend it.

I love love love Benefit's FY...Eye! (I've discussed it in the makeup thread). It's an eyeshadow primer that you apply to your eyelids about 3 minutes before putting shadow on. It lasts all day! It's about $21, but will last you a long time.

I had my container for just about a year, and had only used about half of it. It got damaged in my luggage on my trip to SF, and I ended up replacing it with MAC concealer out of convenience (had gift card to Saks, which doesn't carry Benefit). As soon as this runs out, I'm going back to Benefit!

I love Benefit!! I use their Bad Gal Lash, Boi-ing concealer, Dr. Feelgood, crease-less eyeshadow, and Eye-Con. Their lip gloss is also fantastic - not sticky at all but with lots of color! Their products are really great and actually work. I've also tried their Lemon-Aid, High Beam, and Ooh La La Lift (all in the "Realness of Concealness" kit).

LOVE IT!!

Yes! The "Realness of Concealness" kit looked pretty good to me. I actually made a wishlist already - which I never do!

Seconding Munchkin03 on the love for F.Y...Eye! It's great. I use the Some-Kinda-A-Gorgeous foundation and have found a little goes a long way. I also use the That Gal! face primer and 10 bronzer/blush mix.
