Southern Greek alums?

I'm doing a paper on the history of Greek life and the undergraduate college experience in the South and I was wondering if anyone on GC would be willing to answer a few questions through PM or e-mail to share their experiences with me. I've done quite a bit of research, but I'd really like to be able to add anecdotes/a personal touch to the work. Ideally, I'd like to talk to someone who's been out of college for 10+ years. Please let me know if you're willing to help!

For what course is this assignment?

I ask because it only seems to make sense to get personal interviews for an anthropology class, and even then, it seems like the topic isn't specific enough for such an interview to be relevant.

It's a history class, and my teacher is really into the "personal" side of things. I have a lot of freedom in choosing the topic, so I can tailor the paper to a narrower focus after I talk with someone. I get the feeling that the assignment is more to try to round out the experience of the research we have been doing in class than to get hard factual value. I'm not from the South and I don't really know anyone who is, so I planned on writing about how an actual person's experience compared to what I've learned in class and from my research. I know GC is a longshot, but I figured it couldn't hurt to try.

Fair enough.

Oh, and are you looking for NIC/NPC experiences specifically? If you're looking for NPHC experiences, I may have some contacts.
