In this thread, we talk about mixed drinks and other yummy beverages...
I was at the liquor store today trying to restock my stash for my Superbowl Shindig and noticed a vodka with the name "p.i.n.k".
I've seen the advertisements for it in airport magazines (80 proof AND infused with caffiene? someone call the police!) but haven't tried it yet.
Has anyone tried it yet?
The bottle said something about "flavor" so I didn't know if it had added flavors or what. It was almost $40 a bottle, so I didn't want to try it only to not like it and spend $40, so I went with my normal Belvedere instead.

Did you ask if they have a little tiny bottle of it? My favorite liquor store often has the "sample" sizes of new drinks so you can try it for just a few bucks.

Those aren't "sample sizes." They're individually packaged shots!
To answer your question, TP, I'm a whiskey drinker. I've never tried it, sorry, but have seen it at one of the bars down here. Vodka infused with caffeine though? Dang I'm scared!
Random sidenote: Why is it that the only three people that've posted in this thread are women from Texas? Ha!

Okay, I won't lie. I do martini night every so often with the gals. So, yes, I occasionally drink vodka. I would never do any flavored vodka though. That's just....interesting.
PS - Way to keep this a Texan thread Jenn!

This thread is now renamed Texan Ladies and their Vodka!!
I'm not usually a fan of flavored vodka (reference first post) but whenever I go to Sullivan's I drink their trainwreck or whatever it's called-it's pineapple infused vodka and orange juice and it is wonderful!! Can't think of the true name-it's trainwreck or nightmare or something!! Basically, the effect of the drink is the name of the drink!

I was never a fan of vodka, but at an event I went to I had a cranberry Vodka drink that was made w/ Grey Goose and I feel in love! lol. No wonder people like Grey Goose!! hahaha.
Vodka and caffeine is a bad combo. An upper and a downer...yikes. Reminds me of all the drinks i've consumed that contained liquor and Red Bull. It makes me gag just thinking about it! lol.
<---from TX also!! hahaha

The olive juice. I can't stand olives, so I drink my martinis with a twist.
<---- Not from Texas

^ No olives here, either!
New Yorker - born and raised. But I love a good drink now and then! If it's vodka, then only Grey Goose or Ketel One. I'm over Absolut! However, my favorite right now is Bacardi Big Apple and Cranberry. So yummy.

One of my favorites - goes by several names.
Lately, the few times I've had a drink, it's been a chocolate martini.
<----- DEFINITELY not from Texas!

My favorite mixed drink is from a fusion place in Minneapolis called Chino Latino. They have great specialty martinis, but my favorite is the "Liquid Sin." Here's its description from their website:
LIQUID SIN
a fruit punchy concoction of Cruzan Junkanu citrus, Alize Passion, peach schnapps and Chambord

For Lyle Lovett fans . . .
That's right, you're not from Texas, but Texas wants you anyway!

It's good. I drink it with sugar-free Red Bull (yes, I know - hush).

I'm a big vodka, soda and lime/lime juice fan, prefer grey goose or ketel one, but sometimes vodka just needs to be vodka.
I used to drink gin (tanqueray) and seven like it was going out of style, I LOVE margaritas, a little grand marnier and patron (I'm also bff with jose) on the rocks with ice, i'm allllll good

I prefer dark liquors...crown and coke, 7 and 7, jack and cranberry...
but my favorite mixed drink is probably a drink made with crown, cranberry and apple vodka
and a red snapper
