Here's a sister coming to helpp!
I'm also in D Phi E and my school is small like yours and we only have 3 sororities on campus. Formal recruitment can be a very hectic week, but it's a fun way to get to know PNMs.
It's usually a week long thing. This is how we do our formal recruitment
Day 1: usually in informal meeting with all 3 sororities. Each one talks about their chapter, philanthropies, background information, etc.
Day 2: PNMs are split in to groups and each house has a different room in our university center. Each house has a theme (we did a hollywood theme w a red carpet, lights, you could make stars and put each sisters name on it, and everyone dressed up to go along with the theme). PNMs just go around to each room mingle with sisters talk to them, sisters can offer food, drinks.
Day 3: PNMs still in groups and they go to each sorority house. This is more of a relaxing time, sisters are paired up with 1 or 2 NPMs and give tours and than come back hang out and do some fun ice breakers. Once again, each has a theme.
Day 4: Is pref night. NPMs receive invitiations to the sorority that were interested in them, this is a formal night.
Day 5: BID DAY!
Hope this helps! Any other questions just ask!
