Greek Stores? (Dallas or internet)

What is the Greek Store called that is by Southern Methodist University? A few of us are planning on going and getting some cute stuff but we don't want to get lost!

What are some other good Greek stores in the Dallas area or on the internet?

THere is a really cute store in Fort Worth called The Brown Bag! They have all sorts of cute painted sorority goodies!!!!

Here is their website with their contact info (including physical address):

I am not absolutely positively sure, but I believe the store next to SMU is called Flash. I hear they have some cute stuff there, but I have never been to that store myself.

You might be thinking of McCartney's. It is on Hillcrest, right across from the campus. Have fun!

Flash on Hillcrest stocks just about all the Greek items you will find on-line and at the same prices. They carry only items for GLOs at SMU, though.

If you go Internet shopping:

Greek Gifts http://greekgifts.safeshopper.com/index.htm?561

Greek Express www.greekexpress.com

both good!

Flash and McCartney's are on the same block, at opposite ends of the shopping center. They're both really good places to find fun Greek stuff.

I've made many a trip to SMU in the past 6 months for exactly that purpose...

Spring Break at SMU is this week, so you should be OK. Have fun shopping!

Flash is now closed, but McCartney's is on Hillcrest and University near the Blockbuster. It is easy to find. I heard Brown Bag in Fort Worth is amazing, but I've never been there. Depending on what GLO you're looking for, McCartney's will either have a little or a lot.

Brown Bag in FW is where several memebers of my chapter would get lil/big gifts... they def. have cute stuff.

Brown Bag is THE BEST!!! I always find something I want there... plus, I love that they carry a variety of sororities so I can get gifts for my friends elsewhere.

In addition, TCU has Flash on University Drive just down from the bookstore (it's literally on campus).

Just felt like I should share the *sad* news...

As of right now, Brown Bag is closing at the end of the semester. The owners are retiring and looking for a new owner, but planning the closing anyway.

On the bright side, I think most if not everything is 25% off...
