What did you all think of the Big Brother Premiere?
I caught the last half an hour of big brother last night. I was very dissappointed - they all sit and played truth or dare in a circle. How Juvenile! I can do that anytime with friends.
There are some very cute guys however - Will and Hardy - but the atmosphere in the house was boring. Needless to say I dont think I will be watching every Thursday. I'll take my Friends reruns!

Well, I watched Big Brother because everything else is a re-run anyway. I thought it was pretty dumb. It's kinda like Making the Trainwreck (Making the Band)...you don't want to watch but you can't seem to look away.

I watched about the last half hour of it and thought it was pretty weak. I tuned in right near the end of the "challenge" or whatever they call it, where everyone sat in the van and the last person to get out wins the van. How boring is that? It's like the challenge on Survivor where everyone stood on those stumps in the river for 10 hours.
Also, maybe it's just me, but I couldn't follow that ridiculous Head of Household challenge either. Trying to keep track of who was "eliminated" and whose turn it was to spin the wheel, and people being voted funniest, smartest, sexiest, etc...it was just stupid. And this show is going to be on 3 TIMES A WEEK and they only vote someone out every third show? Bo-ring. I don't think I'll be watching it anymore.

I watched the show in its entirety the other night, I was pleased to see that they went with actual professional lighting, last season seemed so bad in comparison, like they just used some low rate camcorder. The cast seems so fake, maybe its just me but seeing a thirty year old with a backwards visor on is just a bit much. I don’t know it’s the summer time so im sure ill be watching it from time to time but its definitely not a must watch.

Okay everybody...BB2 has been on for a few weeks now and hardly any thread discussion!
What do you all think of the fledgling relationship betwixt Will and Shannon (who already has a boyfriend, I might add!)?
Hardy is head of the household and nominated both of them for eviction! Who will it be?

Shannon is a ho. I hope her bf realizes this and dumps her. No forgiveness there, esp since there is so much evidence (on TV!) :P How embarassing for him.
I'm glad Autumn is gone- she was a whiny "poor me I'm a single mom". I couldn't believe she tried to make the old guy (forgot his name) guilty to make him get out of the car (that he finally won) ("we need the car more WHINNNNNE")
UGH...

Brooklineu, you are so funny...I am at work laughing by myself!
I was ready to jump up and do cartwheels when Hardy won head of household. I was hoping he would nominate dumb & dumber (will & shannon) and I can't wait to see them BOTH go. Down with chill-town!!!
I personally like the UTs (Monica, Krista, & Hardy) the best!

I just started watching BB2 recently(actually Saturday was the first time I had seen an entire show)
Saturday, Shannon had me dying laughing when she said that everybody else in the house was jealous because the members of Chilltown were pretty and smart(and gosh darnit, people like them) Somebody needs to really get over themselves. Then I died laughing again when she came back in that same episode crying about how she just now realized that she was not a nice person and some people don't like her because of her actions. She also said that if she was nominated she was going to fall out and cry and act a fool. I was so disappointed when she didn't cry when Hardy put her name up for nomination. I was looking for another good laugh.
I wasn't really feeling Hardy. I thought he was fake person. But after Tuesday episode,I completely change my mind about him. What Shannon did was just so childish. I hope she gets kicked to the crub on Thursday and I hope she takes Will with her.

Good Riddance, Shannon. Notice her "boyfriend" wasn't there when she left the house.
I was so happy that Kent won head of household over Mike. I think Will and Mike will be nominated this week.

Brookline, you are SOOOOO funny. I am laughing like an idiot in the computer lab on campus. The work-study kids just had to tell me to quiet down or leave.
"I hereby request apologies from all their parents for having sex."
HAHAHAHHAHHAHA. Thats not copyrighted is it? Id know of a few idiots I'd like to use that on.
As for shannon causing someones death. Sommore details. I have lived herein San Antonio for 8 years, and I might remember the incident. I am interested to see what it is.
I hate to admit it, but i am so hooked on the show. SEE MY SOCIAL SHAME.

Hey lifesaver do you know if Shannon is a Native Texan? My stomach turned when I found out that she was from Texas.

I dunno anything but what I have read on the CBS website. If we can find out her last name, I can do a records search of the San Antonio Express-News, our local rag, and also find out somemore info on her which I choose not to discuss at this time. So anyone reading, GET ME HER LAST NAME.
I got a little queazy when I found out she was from SA, but dont let it fool ya, she fits in around here. I am not big on SA right now, texas yes, but SA no. I'll probably post something about it later.

According to what I was able to gather she is listed as living in Rockport, TX, about 20 miles from Corpus Christi. I love how she claims to weigh 120 lbs tho. The Express-News had nothing on her, but I bet the Corpus-Chrisi Caller-Times might. I'll search there later when I have a chance.
