It's in Massachusetts or something. I think when the Mormons sailed over on the Santa Maria, that's where they landed.

Are you being snippy with me because you're upset that Creed broke up?

No honestly, I don't understand why people listen to it. Can't you still love God and listen to the Top 40?

I made a jokie joke joke and you didn't like it.

I think they listen to Christian rock because they like hearing references to religion and dont want to hear songs about sex.

i have been listening to Christian rock music since i was 9 years old. i have hundreds of cds by Christian rock artists.
It is okay if you do not like it, cause it is not for everyone.

i listen to all kinds of music.

a lot people think that because it is Christian, that it cannot be real rock. but there are many Christian rock albums that are absolutely amazing.

XM Satellite Radio has its on Christian rock station.

side note- you can praise God and rock out at the same time

Please tell my Pentecostal mother in law and her congregation that! She told me "you don't understand"

And she wonders why I am agnostic!

Christian music has come a long way from Stryper.

I hope this doesn't sound sacreligious, but I feel uncomfortable watching the advertisement for the Christian music CD, "Worship Together" because they show clips of people at various concerts and most of them look like they're making the "O" face.

That just doesn't seem right to me.

So what's your favorite CD to hook up with people? I bet Jars of Clay has some good rhythms and can help get the ladies all red in the face.

Silver Turtle when I saw the name Stryper I burst out laughing.

When I saw the thread title Christian Rock I automatically thought of Amy Grant and how much my RA loved her music.

Yes Silver Turtle it has a evolved some.
