i hope to HAYLE that the designers are better than this first challenge? there are only 2 designs i like. the rest are just unimaginative and blah.

I really thought that Stella would go home. She seemed so bored and whiny throughout the episode. Some of the designs were sooo forgettable.
I wonder what the car material episode will produce.

Why is it on at 9 instead of 10?

They moved the time slot up to try and get a few more viewers. Rumor has it, though, that Bravo is trying to ruin the series so it does poorly on Lifetime. Tim Gunn's interviews about this season have given the impression that this season won't be as satisfying to viewers.
Regarding last night's challenge, though many of them used tablecloths, I liked several of the designs. I loved the vacuum cleaner bag skirt, but I hated the bodice of the dress. I liked the mop head dress, as well as the one that used placemats. And the plastic cup dress must have been very tedious to assemble. I'm glad they kicked off the guy they did - when someone said that it reminded them of American Psycho, they took the words right out of my mouth. And he actually told the judges the outfit was for a night out on the town? That was a pretty clueless response.
WOOT for two designers from the PacNW!
OH, anyone notice that a few of the models look a little bit meatier than in past seasons? In a good way, I mean. The girl in the blue cup dress definitely looked curvy.

I totally noticed her!! For a model, she looks heavy. (which is really sad for me to say! lol)
I loved the bottom of the vaccuum dress but not the coffee filter top!

That is the new time slot. It also looks like they are reairing the episodes at 11 for those who miss it at 9.

blue cup dress - amazing! also the coffee filter bleach & dye skirt - too cute and it looked wearable alone - the top was not the business.
my absolute FAVORITE dress was the yellow one by korto.

I am TOTALLY addicted to Project Runway! I agree with the winner, however, thought Stella should have been given the boot for her uninspired design. Oh, well, I guess that MK, NG and HK saw something we did not!
Can't wait for next week.......

I know it's only been one episode, but this season's designers are boring and don't appear to have much creativity.

Watched the episode. Loved the vacuum cleaner bag skirt and if you looked the the details of the coffee filter top, it was amazing.
I already have spotted my annoying contestant of the year. It's the Christian wannabe -- Blayne with the tanning bed addiction.
I'm hooked again. Can't wait until next week.

I loved the vacuum cleaner bag outfit. Suede was a bit of an annoyance talking about himself in the 3rd person in every one of his interviews. Love Tim, but he seemed extra crabby last night when he was checking out the outfits.
Austin looked like he had waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much work done on his face. He looked really plastic almost like a robot.
