Well I dunno about ever wanting to stand up to pee. Personally I like sitting...sometimes it's the only point in the day while at work that I get to sit. LOL.
I know how to farmer squat and that's about all I think I want to learn. Interesting reading though.

Yeah, it's more convient sitting at home, but when you're at nasty public rest rooms, in a forest, or in the middle of no where it is nice to have that option!

I don't know about this...I read it, and I can definitely see how it could be a good thing. Public restrooms can be gross. But then, I can usually wait.

Read the whole site! It's pretty interesting,
especially the part about the history and how it states that in certain cultures it is the norm.

Personally I've never had an issue with popping a squat... and sometimes it leads to hilarious stories!

I am all to familiar with public restrooms, since I work in a department store. I HATE public restrooms. I HATE everything about them... opening the door to get into the restroom, locking the the stall door, the SMELL!!! etc. I have a complete routine that I execute everytime I take a trip to the bathroom, which BTW I try to avoid at all costs!!!

My advice on public restrooms...

My beef with public restrooms, other than the things previously mentioned is the door handles. It always has you pull to exit. Well, so many people don't wash their hands, I don't wanna pull on that nasty handle. I usually use a paper towel. It would make tons more sense to have the door push out so you can use your arm, or something clothed to open the door.

Of course, I'm the germ-freak who carries the hand sanitizer all the time and flushes with her foot

EXACTLY, Juniorgrrl!!!

Flush with the foot, use a paper towel to open the door, and...I roll down the paper towel BEFORE I wash my hands, then use the paper towel to shut off the water, then get ANOTHER paper towel to dry my hands...I'll use that one to open the door. It's exhausting to use public restrooms. The women at my counter joke that I srub for surgery when I use the restroom. Oh, I wash my hands BEFORE I go to the bathroom as well...I've been touching money and hands all day, YUK!!! Even if you're just shopping, you should wash before hand too. The malls are sooooo gross!!!

Juniorgrrl...I'm a germ freak too!!!

Have you ever been to Subway or Blimpie where one person is working and they don't take their gloves off to handle money, and don't change them inbetween doing the register and making the sandwiches? I HATE that If they don't change their gloves, I ask them too. And if they don't do it, I leave. Money is nasty. I don't want those germs on my sandwich

LMAO! One of my very good friends has a very similar, involved routine for using public restrooms... she doesn't touch anything with her bare hands. It's one of the funniest (but maybe smartest) things I've ever seen!!
