I am a freshman at EKU and I had originally wanted to rush this fall but I ended up backing out because I was worried about my high school GPA not being good enough and because my parents felt I needed to focus on school this first semester. But, I really regret not rushing now. Does anyone happen to know if there is a good chance of rushing in the spring or should I wait until next fall?

it certainly can't hurt to check out spring recruitment .. you don't have to accept a bid from informal if you don't find a home and it will give you a chance to meet women in the chapters and practice your conversation skills.

EKU has a informal spring recruitment every year. YOu still have parties and theme nights and what not but it's not structured like fall recruitment.

The same requirements for membership apply in the spring as they do in the fall. There is no set quota. Chapters are only allowed to pledge enough women to put them at chapter total which for now is at 70. Therefore, some chapters will take more or less women than others.

I'm recruitment/membership advisor for the Theta chapter there. You'll probably see me!
