The YouTube Music Video Flashback Thread
What songs or music groups were you absolutely bananas over in high school? Post links to the YouTube (or other video site) videos of the songs. Let's limit links to 3 per post. I'll start.
1. I will STOP what I'm doing, even to this day, to sing and dance along to this song. This was my fave group, hands down.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nm_QilrHkh8
2. This is another one that makes me revert to my 9th grade self. This was my second favorite group.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1rLhhKnQ5o
3. This group is the first concert I ever went to and the first record (a 45) I ever spent my paltry $5 a week allowance on.

Soooo mine had to be:
No Scrubs (Remix) ~ TLC--FIRST AND FOREMOST! I was (and still am) gaga over TLC and the vid for this song was amazing but the VMAs were even better. I even memorized the ENTIRE dance with my cousin. I think it was especially cool because 9 was one of my favorite numbers and it was my favorite group performing on 9/9/99 while I was in 9th grade.

All Cried Out ~ Allure ft. 112--whenever I heard this, I dropped everything. It always had a special place in my heart. It was my fav song for awhile and when my sister realized how much I loved it, she told me it was a remake...and that the original had been my fav song when I was little.

Crash and Burn ~ Savage Garden--this song meant a lot to me in high school. It was a total description of my life (to an extent, so was this entire CD).

Maaan, I had that little leg move down pat!
I saw them in concert in Detroit at the fair in the summer of 1989, and they ROCKED THE HOUSE. That has to be one of the best concerts I've ever been to. I remember the MC at the beginning asking the crowd who were Jets fans, and only me and some other people screamed. AFTER the concert, the MC asked the same question, and the whole place erupted with screams, whistles, people jumping up and down, and everything. They really know how to give a show!

PS -- I saw the No Strings Attached concert in Memphis! Because Justin's also from the area, I saw him get his diploma at the show.

This is the first song that I ever remembered singing in the car with my mom:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTF97_ve118 Always - Alantic Starr
And I know it will be the JAM at my wedding, too!
My mom said I used to sing this in the car too, and when he said "I can see", I would point at my eye!
