Looking for White Violets (the flower)

I'm moving into my first house and I wanted to get some white violets to put either outside in pots or possibly some artificial ones to put inside. Any ideas where to get them online...??? I live in GA so I'm not sure of the climate for them here - they used to grow wild in VA - which is why I would consider artificial ones. I'd also like to get some purple irises for my boyf's fraternity (DTD).

Violets

I'm sure we all know.... these flowers are freakin' impossible to find!!

Have you thought about looking for other violets instead, such as African (indoor) or woodland (outdoor) varieties? What about forgoing the flowers altogether and having strawberry plants instead?

The Irises for DTD should be no problem though, you can find bulbs at any Lowe's/Home Depot/ etc. in the Garden Department!

GOOD LUCK IN THE HUNT!!!

I've bought them at Home Depot or Lowe's many times.

Ooh, really? Is there a certain season that's more likely for me to find them in?

I'm not sure. I just grab one every once in a while since I'm not good at keeping them blooming once I get them home.

They used to have really pretty fake ones at Michael's and MJDesigns. I haven't been there in a while so I don't know if they still have them. Maybe Garden Ridge would have them?
