Older white women join Kenya's sex tourists

I heard about this on a local PM drive time show

MOMBASA, Kenya (Reuters) - Bethan, 56, lives in southern England on the same street as best friend Allie, 64.
They are on their first holiday to Kenya, a country they say is "just full of big young boys who like us older girls".
Hard figures are difficult to come by, but local people on the coast estimate that as many as one in five single women visiting from rich countries are in search of sex.

I heard about this the other day... sounds crazy to me! I'm all up for having a good time, but doesn't Africa have one of the worst, if not the worst, statistics for HIV infections? I don't really know Kenya's numbers off the top of my head, but I just hope all those people getting it on stay safe and healthy.

I have no problems if it's between two consenting adults like in this situation. It when the MEN go after the foreign children or the women who have may be forced by family or their husbands/boyfriends. If a white lady wants to get a "Taste of Africa" then let her go. I just wish they would both take efforts to keep their STDs to themselves.

6.9 percent... and the women "shun" condoms for being too "businesslike". Yikes.

All I can say is I'm glad I'm not an old-lady lovin' lesbian with a thing for a British accent...
