I think all but two people were released, but how awful for those two people. Evidently, Obama's and Edwards' offices are aware of the situation and taking precautions.

According to cnn.com, the two hostages released were a woman and her baby. Once they were released, police were alerted of the situation.

I really hope this is just a crazy person & wasn't done for political reasons.
