For all the Ladies:
For some people it's shoes, for some it's bras, for some it's hairstyles, but for me--it's a bag to carry. Never satisfied!
I LOVE the little tiny purses that hold your drivers liscense, your money, and a tube of lipstick--but come on--in the real world those types of bags are just unrealistic! I don't want to carry a beach bag with me or anything, but I'm desparate to find the right bag to carry! Summer is here and I need organization and convenience (sp?), not to mention something cute!
What type of bag do you carry?
I had a cute little purse, but it was becoming over packed with all my stuff and I can't fit a waterbottle in it. So I'm looking for something with pockets and maybe a little pouch to carry my water--I've BEEN carrying a BACKPACK! that I got from the GAP a couple years ago--but it's got no pockets so everything is just floating around in there. HELP! What do you guys suggest?

Guess and Espirt has some good purses at a decent price too.
Personally, and its on the expensive side I love my Prada "City/Shopper" I think its called and my Kate Spade tote-- both have ample room for my wallet, makeup, journal, whatever book I'm reading, cell phone, etc.

Kate Spade has great bags. The Sam is my favorite. If you don't want to spend that kind of money you can usually find knockoffs on eBay for $50 or so. I also have a Nine West that is very similar to the Kate Spade Claire.

My favorite bag is my Coach signature hobo bag. It's not huge, but it isn't tiny either. I can fit everything in there (and I carry a lot of junk) and still have some room. I also have a few Guess tote-type bags that are pretty roomy.

Right now, I'm carrying a woven purse. Its not a Sac, its a knockoff my aunt found in a mall in Florida. Its awesome because it has a cell phone pocket on the front, and a small zipper pocket just big enough for keys, sunglasses and makeup
Inside, its nice and roomy.
Although, when it comes to packing stuff in, NOTHING can compare to the Kate Spade Sam. That thing is HUGE

I would suggest the Nine West pipelines line. It's a medium sized purse and it has a zippered compartment in the middle which acts like a border to divide the purse in two (uuuh i dunno how else to describe it). you can fit a water bottle, a planner, a wallet, a checkbook, makeup, kleenex, etc (well that's what i put in mine anyway lol). it looks professional and chic as well. and it comes with straps if u wanna carry it by hand or sling it on your shoulder. and it's not a bad price either. our carson pirie scott has it on sale now for 35$, so chances are your dept store does too.
If price isn't an issue, you can go to monica lewinsky's handbag website (yes she has one now and theyr'e all cute!) www.therealmonica.com
there's a lot of styles from adorable evening mini purses to bigger/medium totes for everyday.
But the Nine West one I described above is so far the most perfect handbag for everyday use in terms of size, color and compartments.

it's a little on the expensive side, but my all time favorite purse is my black Kate Spade Claire. It's big without being too big, classy, and matches with absolutely EVERYTHING.

newbie...lol I wouldn't doubt it if we in fact do!!!
mgdz,I saw some Kenneth Cole Reaction bags today at Marshall Field's. Of course I wouldnt call them purses coz they're on the sporty side but they could probably work for you too. They are medium sized and rectangular shaped so they can hold a water bottle aside from many things and they also have outside pockets/flaps for a cellphone, etc. =) If u wanna go the sporty way instead of girly, then K.Cole Reaction would be the way to go. And they cost about the same as Nine West purses.

ummm... haha... actually, i use my sorority bag to carry EVERYTHING.... it's just a navy blue bag w/ my letters in orange.. and i just love it. since there are no pockets (it's more of just a sac), it is hard to find everything, but i don't mind sporting my letters either!
